The Río Negro Corporation is the heir and successor of part of Excel Partnersbusiness as a management company of Venture Capital funds. Excel Partners raised, managed and divested four venture capital funds, managing investments amounting to more than €500 million. Excel Partners consulted these funds for a period of over 20 years and held stakes in the initial stages of companies as Duplico, Laboratorios Autex, Monbebé, Lhysa, Banco Alcalá, Grupo Nuova, etc. and subsequently with presence of Río Negro’s employees in Gas-Gas, Unitronics, Expert Maschinenbau, Printone, Rotographic, Meta 4 and other leading companies in their sectors.
